Gift Shop

The Kiowa Gift Shop has been in operation since the mid 1990′s. It began in the Kiowa Museum area, which was located in the back room of the museum. It sold mainly t-shirts, jackets & mugs. In 2006, the shop was re-located to the front of the complex lobby, many of the visitors and tribal people didn’t know that tribe had a tribal gift shop. Now that everyone can see the gift shop as soon as they walk into the complex, we are right there!

We now sell daily planners, monthly planners, key tags, license plates, key fobs, pens, pencils, lapel pins, cd’s, cassette tapes of Kiowa singers, purses, bags made by Kiowa arts and crafts people, as well as our t-shirts, golf shirts, denim shirts, hoodies, jackets, all with the “Kiowa” logo or the words “Kiowa Tribe of Oklahoma” imprinted on them. We also sell Pendleton items such as: blankets, saddle blankets, serapes, baby blankets, purses, bags, and many other items. A list of all items will be available on request.

Many of our customers have been asking for books and I have decided to re-stock the books that are available on Kiowa history. But, this won’t be until after July 2011. I hope to open the gift shop during the American Indian Exposition once again this year. So, come in to the Kiowa Gift shop and browse and get all your Kiowa tribal logo items here. And if we don’t have it, we will try our best to get it!
The gift shop will be closed every Tuesday and Thursday afternoons, but if you are interested in buying something from the gift shop, just see the Procurement office. They take care of the shop when I’m gone.
Sorry for any inconvenience for all who have visited the shop in the past and we were closed.
Also, the Kiowa Gift Shop accepts only CASH, CHECKS and MONEY ORDERS. We do not have a credit/debit card machine at this time.
Come in and visit with us. We are still open from 8am to 4:30pm.
We are closed on weekends and holidays.
