Security Supervisor & Counselor
Security Supervisor-
The Kiowa Tribe of Oklahoma will be accepting applications for Security Supervisor. The incumbent will be under the direct supervision of the Executive Directior.S/he will perform duties in accordance with established policies ,procedures,and other directives.S/he will exercise their own judgement. Situations not covered by instruction are to be established with the Executive Director to determine appropriate course of action. QUALIFICATIONS: Experience required in Security or Law Enforcement Field. All training documents,license or certificates are required. Knowledge of computers. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with the general public; to follow oral written instructions and to maintain control in emergency situations. Familiarization with Local,State, Tribal and Federal Laws. REQUIREMENTS: No prior felony convictions.Must possess a valid drivers license. COUNSELOR-
The Kiowa Tribe of Oklahoma Kiowa Alcohol Drug Abuse Program will be accepting application for Counselor. The Counselor will be under the direct supervision of the (KADAP)Director who will provide counseling and assessments to clientele. S/he will assume program responsibilities in the absences of the director. The Counselor will assist in supervising all volunteers and outside program participants. QUALIFICATIONS: Must have a minimal educational level of a 2 year Associate degree in Psychology, Sociology, Chemical Dependency,or related field or have at least (2)years work experience in counseling or in a substance abuse field. Must hols or be pursuing alcohol/drug counselor certification in counseling through the Oklahoma Board of License Alcohol & Drug Counselors (OBLADC). Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision. The candidate shall have good communication skills both writtten and verbal. The incumbent must have good reasoning abilities to make sound decisions in emergency and troublesome circumstances.
