Chairman Lawrence SpottedBird, Vice Chairman Tsotigh, Legislator Warren Queton and Legislator Ben Wolf toured the Osage Nation Meat Processing Plant Tuesday, April 25, 2023. Thank you to Chief Geoffrey Standing Bear of the Osage Nation along with Ronnie Gilley, Assistant Manager and Jill Hough, Retail Coordinator for the tour. The Kiowa Tribe envisions establishing a meat processing facility in our jurisdiction in the next few years.

The CHR Program attended the 15th Annual Tribal Public Conference and the 50th Anniversary of the Southern Plains Tribal Health Board Organization.
The CHR Program was excited to attend these events to gain knowledge to help make a stronger impact in community health and bring back innovated methods to our Kiowa Citizens.
Kiowa Tribe Housing Authority Special Meeting
Today April 12, 2023 the Kiowa Tribe Housing Authority held their first special meeting under Executive Director, Luke Toyebo, Jr. In attendance were the three newly appointed Kiowa Housing Board Commissioners, Katherine Ware-Perosi, Karen Cash-Onco, Kay Mopope, Chairman Lawrence SpottedBird, Vice-Chairman Tsotigh, Executive Director Lindy B. Waters along with Legislators, KIC Coordinator and Kiowa Citizens.
Regional Fiber Connect Conference
Chairman SpottedBird, John Daugomah, and Robert Craig attending the Regional Fiber Connect Conference in OKC this morning to learn more about creating a broadband network and enterprise for the Tribe.
